Home Starter Kits for St Martins Trust

Last year we collected cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils which was donated to St Martins Housing Trust, Norwich so they could make starter kits for 33 flats they are refurbishing for vulnerable, homeless people to enable them to enjoy a permanent home.

Sports Relief

Last year the School Council organised a sponsored Fun Run and non-uniform day to raise money for Sports Relief.

Christmas Hampers

In December each of our forms put together hampers to be donated to St Martins Housing Trust. The items are redistributed to people who have been homeless during the year and are now trying to get back on their feet. This year, the 28th year the school has been donating hampers, we are hoping for the best turnout ever!

New Minibus

During 2012 we had a target to raise enough money for a new minibus. We were delighted to announce that we had raised over £10000 in just nine months. This allowed us to bid for match-funding from Awards for All and in January 2013 we received the news that our bid had been successful. The new minibus is now in use and very much appreciated by the many students who have used it for various fixtures and trips.

We would like to thank everyone who gave their time, money and energy to help; everyone who donated money and prizes, everyone who organised the various events and everyone who took part in them.

We would like to say a special thank you to The Rose of India Restaurant in Attleborough who held two charity nights and made a very generous personal contribution.
