One day a student had a great idea. She asked our School Council about supporting an email address to help people who were worried, stressed or being bullied. The old system was to post a note in a box but it was felt that this was too public. The Friends of OBHS provided the funds to get the email up and running and all emails go to Mrs Hassan, the Librarian.
So, if you are feeling Worried, Anxious or Stressed about any aspect of school life then please email us. You can send a message at any time of the day or night, or even during the holidays. Your message will be read on the first school day after the message was sent. You should receive an answer during that day to either give you advice, or advise you of which member of staff is dealing with your concern.
So, if you are worried about exams, anxious about bullying or stressed about school work, then please let us know so we can help. Let’s help to make it ‘I was…’ instead of ‘I am…’!
