GCSE Results 2011

It has been another high-flying year for Old Buckenham High School with 69% of our students achieving the “Gold Standard” of 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths and 71% achieving 5 or more at A*-C. Altogether this year, over 96% of all our students passed 5 or more GCSEs. In Maths, 83% of students made the 3 expected levels of progress since Primary School and in English, the figure was 74%. Over 45% of all subject grades were at A* to B.

These outstanding results are a reflection of our students' hard work and enthusiasm and we are immensely proud of them all. I should also like to pay tribute to the wonderful staff at the school whose commitment and dedication, with the support of parents and carers have paid such dividends in helping our students to achieve their potential at school. Many congratulations to everybody.
